Catholic Easter celebration

In the United States, where Protestants and Catholics celebrate holidays according to the Gregorian calendar, there is no preference to any particular religious tradition in celebrating Easter. This holiday is observed in the family circle, as is customary in each denomination.
Easter, which falls on a different Sunday every spring, reflects the Christian belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For Christians, Easter is the day of prayer and family reunion.

Many Americans still cherish the tradition of coloring Easter eggs and treating their children to a gift of candy.

The next day, on Easter Monday, the president of the United States in a company of children takes part in the annual "Easter Egg Roll" on the White House lawn.

In honor of the holiday in Boston (USA, Massachusetts) talking dolls for children, depicting Prophet Moses, the Old Testament Queen Esther, and Jesus Christ appeared on the market. A married couple from Boston, while teaching the basics of the Bible to their daughter, came up with the idea of creating talking Bible dolls.

The toy prophet is holding the tablets of the covenant in his hands. The instructive plaything costs $ 10. Moreover, the doll can say, "I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but through Me."

In 2006, one of the confectioneries of London displayed the most expensive Easter egg. It was a joint creation of British and French masters.

It took three weeks to create the shape and to cover it with several layers of refined dark chocolate.
