      Happy Saint Nicholas Day-is the greatest day for children. Every child waits for this holiday all over the year. People in England celebrate this holiday usually on 6 December, if they are non-orthodox, but if they are orthodox, they celebrate this day on 19 December. St. Nicholas also had known as Nikolaos the Wonderworker.

      When is Saint Nicholas feast day comes, all English people have fun. From ancient times St. Nicholas was the patron saint of children, students, sailors, fishermen, pharmacists.

      There are such St. Nicholas day traditions, for example: St. Nicholas brings gifts to children. He puts coins in the shoes of there who left them out for him.

      The history of St. Nicholas day is very long and interesting, but there are many legends, why this day is the St. Nicholas day.
